Thank you!

Pictures Dear Friends, it ain't over till it's over! But this is it -the final curtain call. For the last 50 weeks, we've been discovering some of the most beautiful places that this planet has to offer and you guys joined us, by reading our blog. The pictures on display are taken in Switzerland, in our lovely hometown Weggis. With delight we think back of all the incredible experiences we've made and the lovely people whom we met as strangers and left as friends. Some of these memories will last eternally, such as: The unique wildlife of Galapagos, the dense Rainforest of the Amazon the saltflats of Bolivia and the unforgettable argues of Carolina (dos, tres Portugues) with the our driver, trekking beneath the majestic peaks of the South American Andes and eating piles of tasty meat in Argentina! We'll never forget the breathtaking waterfalls of Iguazu and the emotional Tango-show at Café Tortoni in Buenos Aires. The good friends we've met in Cordoba and Puerto Madryn. Fishing for the world’s most beautiful browntrouts in Tierra del Fuego, having fondue with Saskya and Francesco and drinking delicious red wine in Mendoza. The Island Hopping in the Pacific where we met Giulia and Davide (aka the elevator). The very sexy contestants at the Tapati Festival on Easter Island and the Kaveka Resort at Cooks bay in French Polynesia. Sabrina certainly remembers her birthday dinner with the 46 mosquito bites on her left leg! NZ with its city of Sails and the dolphin breakfast at "hotel-carnaval", riding the sand dunes and cruising around Kiwi Land with our beloved Hippie Camper. Waiting for the Pigeons to fly home, together with lovely Julie and handsome Jim. The memories of "Zeiers Risotto" and the night at the shores of Lake Gunn in Fjordland will always be a part of our lives. Then the famous "Weggis coffee connection" in Sydney, Camerons Lady Gaga dance and the Oxford Crawl with Ernie and the boyz! Wow! Angies heavenly flight on ANZAC Day and the Great Ocean Road. Freezing in our swags, playing the guitar, singing and drinking 30 cans of XXXX at the Bonfire next to Uluru-oh dear me!Then the South East Asia tour... fighting the Orang Utan and watching Wildlife in the Jungle Camp. Riding the Bush train and diving in Sipadan. Celebrating my birthday on Mabul with all these crazy guys and the master of ceremony himself: Uncle Chang (thank you for support). To Buddy-up for the first time below surface together and hardcore Rum-diving with Thomas the Danish and Erell. The Chilli night in Sandakan is not completely memorized (some blackouts towards 5a.m.)Then the rice terraces of northern Luzon, the Jeepney rides and the satanic taxi drivers in Manila - what a hustle! Apo - our favourite Island hideaway and the relaxed days at Sugar Beach with the outstanding staff! Partying with the crazy Colombian David in Boracay and diving through the Japanese Shipwrecks in Coron. I'll definitely never forget the stunning view out of the Skybar at Swisshotel Singapore and the 56 Dollar Slings at Raffles Bar.  "Honk if your horny!" explains the growing population of Vietnam and being eye to eye with Uncle Ho at his chilly new home in Hanoi was a remarkable experience. Oh my god, I already miss the sunsets at Halong Bay and the "buy from me mister"-girls of Sapa, as well as riding the night train through the Taifun and chatting with the Tailors of Hoi An. The comfortable suite at Benny and Steffies Place in Saigon, the night strolls through Khaosan Road and the stunning Pagodas of Bangkok.
We know how privileged we are and nevertheless, we won't forget all the misery, poverty and environmental destruction we've seen. We have to pay our share to make this planet a better place, even if it's just in our very own environment. It's time to say goodbye to all of you who have been following our journey by reading this blog. We hope to see you in our future, maybe in Switzerland - at the shores of Lake Lucerne in Weggis.Thank you for your hospitality, your friendship and the unforgettable moments we shared together.

Love Sabrina and Markus
